U-Cut Dates and Hours
Merry Christmas From Green Tree Farm!
If you are reading this in late November or early December, most of our wholesale trees are harvested and the U-Cut season about to start. The farm will be open for U-Cuts in 2011 on two weekends, December 3, 4, 10, and 11. Hours will be 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays and Noon to 4:00pm on Sundays. If it is critical to you to get your tree at a time when we would not normally be open, please let us know. We will work with you if our schedules allow.
We hope you will come to the farm to get a tree, have a cup of coffee or chocolate and enjoy the place. We will have free noble fir boughs and, if we can find some, holly for holiday decorating.
Please bring your kids, family and friends. It is more fun with more people and we enjoy the extra business too.
For liability reasons, dogs have to stay in your car or on leash and we do not allow chain saws.
Bring a hand saw if you have one or borrow one of ours. Or, we would be happy to cut your tree for you if time and staffing allows.
Our prices are the same as last year. Noble fir are $5.50 per foot for trees less than 8 feet tall -- more for taller trees. Grand fir are $4.00 per foot. Douglas-fir are $15 for any tree less than 7 feet and $3.00 per foot for larger trees. U-cut trees are measured by the half foot.
If you or someone you know is in need of a price break, please let know in advance and we will try to help. After all, it is Christmas.
